InvoCare plays an active part in community life at all levels. Nationally InvoCare has worked with and supported community groups such as the Catholic Church, Save the Children, Grief Support and Rotary. Indeed many of the staff are Rotarians. Similarly they are members of many other charitable groups along with various local business groups.

Around Australia, InvoCare’s many staff choose to participate in community activities such car rallies, marathon running, community fairs – even abseiling off the sides of tall buildings, representing their brand and/or location! Each year through these activities they assist in raising thousands of dollars for charities ranging from local hospitals to Camp Quality, Bear Cottage and the National Heart Foundation. This generosity in giving back to the local communities in which they operate also extends to local groups, from a Church to the local junior sports team by way of sponsorship.

Many of InvoCare’s funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoria arrange free memorial services at important times of the year – such as Christmas, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day to provide extra support and as a general community service. There are also special services arranged to include many anniversaries and religious days of significance to Australia’s variety of cultural groups.
