Currently in Australia there are no qualifications needed to become a funeral director. That’s why InvoCare has developed a comprehensive in-house training program for all staff. Through its national team of accredited training staff, InvoCare has produced special courses for staff, based on client needs. No other funeral company does so on such a scale.
The company’s training focuses on such important areas as grief awareness, communicating with grieving people, arranging funerals, conducting funerals and other services. The essentials such as courtesy, telephone manner and customer service are also part of the training program.
The staff are enthusiastic about training and it is InvoCare’s clients who really experience the benefits. InvoCare staff are professionals who are focused on the principle that care is a vocation.
InvoCare has also developed its own internal Code of Conduct, which is used to teach staff about their unique responsibilities and obligations to clients.
